Kia Ora! Im Rachel! I am a passionate counsellor dedicated to empowering rangatahi (youth) and whānau (families) to be the best versions of themselves. With four years of experience in the school, family, and corrections sectors, I specialize in person-centered and narrative therapy, consistently working through a trauma-informed lens to support individuals who have faced considerable challenges.

Throughout my career and in my current role , I have worked with children and young people who have experienced trauma, including anxiety, domestic violence, emotional dysregulation, parental separation,  and more. I provide a safe and supportive environment where they can process , heal, build resilience, and grow into their best selves. My experience also includes working in schools, supporting both teachers and students, and in men's prisons, where I facilitate a parenting program aimed at fostering positive change.

In my current role, I am dedicated to  supporting young people as they work towards reaching their full potential.
I also work closely with parents, equipping them with the tools and confidence to be the best caregivers for their tamariki . As an advocate for meaningful change, I hold hope for individuals and families, especially during times when it may feel out of reach.

I look forward to connecting with you soon :)
