I am an experienced Social Worker, Counsellor, and Group Facilitator with 10+ years' of clinical experience.
I work alongside clients who are navigating major life transitions, coping with mental health challenges, or seeking greater self-awareness.
I also welcome couples who are interested in relationship counselling.
My top specialties include relationship dynamics, men's issues, intimate partner abuse and violence, anger management, and parenting. I utilise narrative therapy to guide our counselling sessions.
My approach is person-centered - putting you in control of your therapeutic journey. I incorporate solutions-focused brief therapy and motivation interviewing to assist you to achieve manageable goals.
Our counselling sessions embrace a strength-based, trauma-informed framework. I offer in-person sessions in Manawatu, Wanganui, Dannevirke, Levin, Hawkes Bay, and Taupo. I also offer phone and Zoom sessions.
