Booking an Appointment
- To book an appointment with Shereen, we require a comprehensive GP referral.
- Referrals will be triaged to determine whether it is suitable to be seen via an online appointment.
I, Shereen (she/her) , am a senior psychiatrist , with 18 years of experience as a Psychiatrist and 33years as a Medical doctor.
I graduated, and specialized as a Psychiatrist in South Africa , before transitioning to the NZ Mental Health system in 2020.
I provide care for individuals across a wide spectrum of mental health disorders , with a Special Interest in ADHD as well as Women’s Mental Health across Her lifespan .
My approach is trauma informed , compassionate , and rooted in understanding each person’s unique experiences.
As a cancer survivor and someone living with a chronic physical illness , I bring a personal understanding of resilience , uncertainty , and the emotional impact of long-term health conditions .
I value authenticity , connection , and empowerment , helping clients navigate their Mental Health Journey with insight, empathy and multifaceted strategies
