Meghan is a registered clinical psychologist who is deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Originally from Ireland, she moved to Tauranga five years ago and has experience in community, hospital, and forensic settings. Meghan has worked with people of all ages, supporting them through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, emotional difficulties, trauma, gender diversity, and neurodiversity. Above all, she is especially passionate about supporting young people as they navigate their unique challenges and transitions.

Meghan takes a caring, non-judgmental approach, which helps clients feel validated and truly heard. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe and is committed to helping clients feel empowered and supported throughout.

Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also integrating strategies from other evidence-based therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Meghan’s approach is person-centred and always tailored to the individual, ensuring that therapy is as effective as possible for each client’s unique needs.
