As a social worker, I tend to look at the "whole" person, supporting the person to identify key issues and helpful strategies to live a meaningful life.

I am a Registered Social Worker (SWRB 3743), been working within social sector and adult mental health services since 2006. I have worked in different settings like DHB mental health inpatient wards, community mental health (DHB & NGO), prisons and Social agencies like Salvation Army and Oranga Tamariki. My particular area of interest is supporting people to thrive despite life's challenges (conflict, childhood trauma etc). I work from a Strengths Model perspective using a number of therapeutic modalities, the main aim being that the person comes away with a set of skills/strategies to achieve their goals of general health and well-being.
