- Asian Family Services
Asian Family Services is contracted by Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) to provide free, confidential, and culturally appropriate professional services for people, family members and others who are affected by gambling harm in the past or at present.
AFS understands that most migrant families experience high levels of stress as they settle into New Zealand which can lead to a wide range of issues. AFS also provides three free counselling sessions for those experiencing anxiety, depression and conflict within family relationships to help manage difficulties and succeed in their migration.
Asian Helpline provides nationwide free and confidential services from Monday to Friday between 9am-8pm. Our Helpline is available in eight languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Hindi and English.
